Everytime I have walked down Haji Lane, there hasn’t been a time in which I haven’t eyed the CAD café- The blue front is hard to miss, to be quite honest. I barely ever have the guts to walk down this road in the middle of the afternoon (the heat is killer), but as timing would have it TCTC and I were exploring and it was lunch time… Sooooo, I decided it was time to check this little café out– for once and for all.

We stepped into the quaint hole in the wall and immediately the service was amazing! The guys who work there are so lovely and chatty; not something you always find in Singapore. I’ve gotten into this habit where I just ask what’s best on the menu and if it sounds good, then awesome– I’m in. I was recommended the omelette with beef sausage.

Guys. I’ve had many omelettes in my life and this was by far the best of the best.

EVER.

The omelette itself consisted of eggs (duh), beef sausage, onions and capsicum; and tomatoes with mustard on top. As well as two slices of toast to accompany the whole thing on the side. Real talk, it was perfect. TCTC couldn’t stop talking about how great her salmon bagel was either. To make my point crystal clear; if you’re around Arab Street, you have to check this place out. The whole vibe of the café is relaxing and I honestly regret not trying it beforehand!
